Arizona All-Staff Appreciation Event
Date: Tuesday, Oct. 22.
Time: 3 to 8 p.m. Note: The last food service will be at 7:30 p.m.
Location: Mayo Clinic, Phoenix Campus, Parking Lot K.

Dietary Restrictions
A line in the food tent will have specialty meals for those with dietary restrictions, including vegetarian and vegan options. A chef will be available in this tent for additional questions related to dietary restrictions.

Groove Merchants
Groove Merchants is a high-energy, experienced, 10-piece wedding and event band based in Phoenix, Arizona. Let these enthusiastic musicians entertain your guests with their signature horn section, vocals and “in the pocket” rhythm section that brings big events to another level. A commanding stage presence will get your guests engaged, out of their chairs and onto the dance floor. Their well-known Phoenix musicians are some of the top professionals in the industry. Groove Merchants can play everything from top 40 hits to Motown to classic rock and are thrilled to set the mood through their music throughout the night. They have played celebrity weddings and would love to be a part of your special day.

Can I bring my family to the All-Staff Event?
This event is intended for Mayo Clinic staff so that we can celebrate our achievements as a team. You must present your Mayo Clinic Access Identification Card to receive food or prizes at the event.

Are the food, games and entertainment free?
Yes. Food, games, live music and other entertainment will be free.

What are the COVID-19 guidelines for the event?
This event will follow current COVID-19 guidelines. You should stay home if you have any symptoms of illness or if you test positive for COVID-19.

What happens in the event of inclement weather?
The event will happen, rain or shine. Tents or canopies will be set up to shield staff from rain if necessary.

Do I need to bring anything to the event?
Bring your Mayo Clinic Access Identification Card to receive food or win prizes.

What if I don't have a Mayo Clinic Access Identification Card?
If you don't have a Mayo Clinic Access Identification Card, please plan to show proof of employment to staff working the event (e.g., a business card or email on your phone).

What is the dress code for the event?
The dress code for the event is casual. Please follow the Dress and Decorum policy if you attend the event during normal work hours. Feel free to bring a change of clothes if you're attending outside your normal work hours.

Do I need to RSVP for the event?
No RSVP is needed.

Will I be paid while attending this event?
This is not a paid activity. Staff are welcome to attend during breaks or before or after work hours.

Steve Patterson
Steve Patterson

Steve Patterson is a veteran entertainment television and radio show host whose energy and quick wit keeps audiences engaged from beginning to end.

Patterson co-hosts the Donna and Steve radio show on MyTalk 107.1FM and is the former host of the long-running afternoon TV show Twin Cities Live. He's gained national recognition for his numerous appearances on LIVE! with Kelly and Ryan, where his subzero weather reports have gone viral.

Eric Perkins
Eric Perkins

Never truly good enough to play college or professional sports, Eric Perkins decided to talk about them instead. Perk as he's better known, grew up immersed not only in sports, but also in television.

Perk spent nearly 25 years in the local media spotlight as the sports director for the NBC station KARE-TV in the Twin Cities. He has won several Emmy Awards for his TV work. He's covered Super Bowls, Final Fours, All-Star Games and even five Olympic Games. But he's perhaps best known for his decade-long run with the Perk at Play segment, in which he's taken part in everything from skydiving to a demolition derby, played tennis with John McEnroe and was body slammed by Brock Lesnar.

Shannan Paul
Shannan Paul

Before moving to Minnesota, the “Land of 10,000 Lakes,” Shannan Paul was born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona. She started her professional career working as a marketing and communications professional for Fortune 100 companies including Wells Fargo Bank and Bank of America. Since her cubicle days, "Miss Shannan" has moved on to become a radio and television show host, comedian, speaker, actress, certified benefit auctioneer and a proud former player of the Women's Professional Football League.

Caitlin Alexander
Caitlin Alexander

Caitlin Alexander joined KTTC as a weeknight evening anchor/producer in 2016. In the summer of 2023, she took on another role of Executive Producer, as well as Weeknight Evening Anchor. She was born and raised in Rochester.

Prior to coming home, she worked at WREG-TV in Memphis, Tennessee, as a reporter and fill-in anchor. Before joining that CBS affiliate in 2014, Caitlin worked as a reporter at KTUL-TV in Tulsa, Oklahoma. During her time there, Caitlin received regional Emmy Award nominations, including for coverage of the 2013 Moore Tornado.

Caitlin graduated from the University of Missouri in 2012 with a Bachelor of Journalism degree in Radio/TV News and a Bachelor of Arts and Sciences degree in Women's and Gender Studies.

During her time in college, Caitlin was lucky enough to intern at KTTC-TV!
